[Latin] The lateral column of the medulla which passes to the cerebellum (forming the inferior peduncle of the cerebellum) and below is continuous directly with the cerebellar tract of the cord and indirectly by the cuneate and gracile nuclei with the posterior-external and postero-median columns of the cord. It connects the posterior roots of all of the spinal nerves with the cerebellum.
