A graph search algorithm which tries allone-step extensions of current paths before trying largerextensions. This requires all current paths to be kept inmemory simultaneously, or at least their end points.Opposite of depth-first search. See also best firstsearch.

- An inorganic water-soluble platinum complex. After undergoing hydrolysis, it reacts DNA produce both intra interstrand crosslinks. These crosslinks appear to impair replication and transcription of DNA. The cytotoxicity cisplatin correlates with cellular arrest in G2 phase cell cycle.
