-
A British chronicler; born in Monmouth (?), 1100 (?); died at Llandaff, 1154. In his "Chronicle or History of the Britons", we are afforded a myriorama of Albion's Olympus, with Merlin and King Arthur, Lancelot and Tristan, and several ladies, indulging themselves in the characteristically lax and delightful manner of fanciful personages.
